My name is Kendra Lavery Jordan and I am the owner of ark design - a company where the worlds of aesthetics, design, technology, and marketing merge with seamless synergy. I graduated from Otis Art Institute of the Parsons College of Design in 1994, and for almost four years held two different art direction/senior design positions with Portland, Oregon firms. In 1997, with a track record of success and a vision for a higher quality of aesthetic creation, I founded ark design. Today ark design's unique blend of aesthetics and digital design serves companies in Oregon, Illinois, New Jersey, Washington, Colorado, Virginia, Massachusetts, and California. Ark design began with the desire to offer higher quality design for print and web mediums. I have found it very effective to take out the middleman and communicate directly with clients about their vision. We work in partnership over the phone and via Internet to determine short-term and long-term goals. Then, I go to work researching the target audience to develop materials and strategies that integrate their market objectives, philosophy, and corporate identity.
